just had an amazing stay in matsumoto, and marunouchi hotel made it even better! the location was perfect for exploring the castle and finding good eats nearby. the rooms were comfy and the breakfast was impressive. such friendly and helpful staff too! highly recommend marunouchi.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better - it's near to Matsumoto castle and very close to everything, including the rail station. You can easily explore the city on foot and visit all the main attractions. The staff at this hotel are friendly and provide efficient service. The rooms are comfortable and have good facilities, with some even offering a view over the castle. Moreover, the breakfast served in the opulent wedding room is fantastic, with a good mix of local delicacies and options like scrambled eggs.

Stayed here for Christmas and loved the festive decoration in the lobby. The room was clean and very quiet, and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet was good, with a variety of options to choose from.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to Matsumoto Castle and charming restaurants and cafes. We also had the opportunity to visit Norikura Ski Resort, which was a great experience for both the kids and adults. The hotel's staff was professional and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, despite some language barriers. They provided helpful assistance and recommendations for our sightseeing adventures, making our stay even more enjoyable.

My children wished that the hotel had a dedicated play area for kids.

Perfect Location

We had the best room with a view of the castle, and it was absolutely stunning. The hotel is conveniently located near the castle and the train station, making it easy to explore Matsumoto. The staff was polite and helpful, and they upgraded us without us even asking. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large and cozy bed. It was a pleasant surprise to be able to see the castle from the shower. The price we paid for the night was very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Matsumoto.

We had a fantastic time exploring Norikura Ski Resort, just a short drive away from the hotel. The kids absolutely loved playing in the snow and trying out skiing for the first time. The resort had great slopes for beginners and the instructors were patient and friendly. It was a perfect family-friendly destination for a fun-filled day in the snow.

My wife says that having a designated play area or kids' club at the hotel would have been a great addition for families with children.

Great location! The hotel is within walking distance to everything, including the beautiful Castle which was only a 5-minute walk away. The staff was helpful, especially when I needed to change my travel plans. The hotel was also very clean and had spacious rooms.

Had an amazing Christmas break at this hotel! The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was huge and had a lot of variety. The hotel is in a great location, close to the sights and restaurants. The staff was exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful. Loved the Christmas decorations and the festive atmosphere of the hotel.

The shower in the bathroom was a bit small, but manageable. The fitness center was also quite small and didn't have much equipment.
